We got tired of explaining ourselves to every AI.

New Brain started with a simple wish: decide something once, in any AI tool, and have every other tool know it, with proof of where it came from.

One orange sphere with five charcoal spheres around it on a grey table, laid out like the New Brain mark.

Why we built it.

Many of us now work with several AI tools, and each keeps its own memory, or none.

A decision made in Claude on Monday is news to ChatGPT on Wednesday. Built-in memory works for one person in one tool, replaces old facts as it goes, and shows no source.

We wanted one memory behind all of them. It had to show its sources, keep its history, admit when it doesn't know, and leave people in charge of what an AI is allowed to keep. And it had to work as well for one founder as for a whole company.

What our mark means.

At the centre of our mark is your memory: one place that ChatGPT, Claude and your other AI tools all read from and write to. Around it are five dots for the five kinds of things it keeps: decisions, status, preferences, facts and lessons.

Open the Map in the app and you'll see the same picture at full size, with everything you've saved as a dot around the centre.

What we hold to.

  • Every answer shows its source.

Which tool, file, message or meeting, and when. If New Brain doesn't know, it says so.

  • Nothing is overwritten.

When something changes, the old version stays in history, marked as replaced.

  • People stay in charge.

What an AI guessed waits for a person to keep it.

  • Your data trains nothing.

We never use it to train AI models, and you can take it or delete it at any time.

  • Progress you can see.

No points, badges or streaks. The reward is a brain that knows more this week than last.

Where we are.

We're based in India and building for people everywhere.

New Brain is in early access in your browser. Paid plans open at public launch; until then everyone uses the free plan. The desktop and phone apps come next, and New Brain Card is on the drawing board.
