Bring your apps in. Let every AI tool read them.
New Brain pulls in what you keep in Notion, Google Drive, Gmail, Slack, Jira and GitHub, and your AI tools read from the same place. Each one connects with a single sign-in.
The apps New Brain keeps up with.
Connect an app once and New Brain keeps up as things change. Facts it finds arrive in To check as one group, so you can keep them all or look through them first.
The free plan connects two apps. Paid plans connect all of them. More apps are on the way.

The AI tools that read and save to New Brain.
Once connected, an AI tool can do five things with New Brain. You decide which parts of your brain each tool can see.
| It can | For example |
|---|---|
| Look things up | "What did we decide about pricing?" comes back with the decision, its source and the date. |
| Save what you decide | Right after you settle something, the tool saves it so every other tool knows. |
| Catch you up on a project | Where it stands, what changed since last week, what's next. |
| Find the original | Open the email, document or meeting the answer came from. |
| Follow your saved instructions | "Write the client update the usual way" uses the instructions you saved. |

One address per brain, one sign-in per tool.
AI tools connect to New Brain through MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard that lets an AI tool use services outside itself. You don't need to know anything about it: you paste your brain's address into the tool, sign in to New Brain in your browser, and pick what the tool may see. There are no keys to copy, and you can disconnect a tool from Settings at any time.
Your address looks like https://mcp.trynewbrain.com/b/<your-brain-id>. Find yours in New Brain under Settings → Connected tools. A personal brain and a company brain each have their own address, so work and personal things stay apart.

Set up each AI tool
Each guide ends the same way: your browser opens, you sign in to New Brain and choose which areas the tool can use.
Claude
For Claude on the web, desktop and phone.
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector, paste your brain's address and choose Connect.

Remember that I prefer short replies.
Saved to New Brain as a preference. Every AI tool you connect will see it.
ChatGPT
ChatGPT calls this Developer mode and shows a warning when you turn it on. That's expected; New Brain only sees what you send it.
- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced and turn on Developer mode.
- Choose Create, paste your brain's address and pick OAuth as the sign-in method.
- Sign in to New Brain when your browser asks.
ChatGPT asks you to confirm before it saves anything to New Brain. That's expected.
