What counts toward your limits.

Questions answered in New Brain are the ones you ask in New Brain itself: on the web, desktop and phone, and in digests. Each uses our own AI model, so plans include a monthly number.

AI tool look-ups and saves are what ChatGPT, Claude and your other AI tools do with New Brain. They aren't questions: your AI tool writes the answer itself. Paid plans don't count them; the free plan includes 1,000 a month.

Recording hours are the hours of meetings New Brain turns into notes.

When you reach 80% of a limit, New Brain tells you. If you run out, it says so plainly, with the date it resets. Reading and exporting your brain are never blocked, and older history on the free plan is hidden, never deleted.

No. On paid plans, AI tool look-ups and saves are unlimited under fair use.

What happens to my data if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted. Your brain moves to the free plan's limits, and you can export everything.
